iSonic is dedicated to providing a portion of the profits made as well as free on-site technician support for Be A HERO Australia on a regular basis, an awesome organization committed to giving a voice to disadvantaged children across the globe who have none. June, 2008: Be A HERO Launch Cutting Edge v-News Newsletter Medium iSonic have been desperately working on a completely online based e-Brochure system with a difference... The brochure actually talks to you while you watch (hence the term "v-Brochure"). Be A HERO Australia, keen to show their projects to donors in a more appealing emotional manner to the traditional email newsletter, were given a lifetime supply of free v-News brochures. Within hours of the mail out, large donations were coming in left right and center proving the effectiveness of this medium in Australia!
January, 2008: 530 Orphans Connect to the Rest of the World iSonic staff and Be A HERO teamed up for 3 full days (and nights) of building, testing, formatting and configuring 80 PCs for Be A HERO Australia's currently largest project in Nyahururu, Kenya. Eighty PC's, keyboards, mice and 15" LCD screens were sent over with full network and internet capability. The children have taken to the computers with open arms allowing them to better understand the amazing world they live in, and offer better skills to employers when they grow up.
June - July 2007: iSonic Takes to the Air to Asia's Most Desperate Communities
In addition we also traveled to Cambodia and Thailand to meet and film the orphanages which have already been established and supported by Be A HERO Australia. The footage we will capture will be cut and edited by iSonic and printSALON staff to be used for future promotional DVDs and flyer Handouts to attract more awareness of what children at risk are facing and ways to break the cycle of oppression.
